Currently, the app only receives accurately within a couple feet. There are a few more optimizations before the app is revealed, but wanted to push this image out.
The boilerplate information on how to receive the brightness on the camera was adopted from this github project.
Now I’ll be honest. There’s one thing more difficult than starting a feature from scratch: repurposing someone else’s hobby projects. Until I finish this demo over the weekend, I’ll leave it here: How do you normalize background noise for flashes?
